G i v i n g   M y   W o r d

What word can I give you
To show that I am true.
It is something you
Will just have to believe.
Even if I give you my word
It can be false.

Words are meaningless.
I look at you and say it all.
Don’t look for words
But search my eyes
For truths that remain
unspoken.

If you will hold my hand
And walk the mile,
You will discover
I speak in a thousand ways
Without a single word.
