Z o n e s   o f   D a r k n e s s
Shallow men in shadow worlds,
Hide behind their smiles
Their hearts of black
Their lives of lack
Living their life of lies.
Light chanced upon them once
And flung her truths unspared,
They caught each word
Threw it back unheard
To sear her heart instead.
So it is that comfort zones
Of darkness do prevail
Where devils dance
And goblins prance
And everything else does fail.
