the future starts here?

:  b o n n i e   m a c a l l i s t e r

I want to eat my own moveable feast
Savoring tactile tribulation at our final meal.
While gripping mandalas and the Dali Lama,
I bit the Bible in angelic gest
Evangelizing apocalyptic premonitions
Seizing carp and corpse.
St. James called out to me on the street corner.
I found the gold crown on his tooth.
Promenades at the red light pagoda
where the Big Dipper became a voyeur.
Bush thorns evoke d stigmata,
but the bush wasn't burning.
