neptune's clouds

g i b r a l t a r   f a l l s

:  j o h n   b r y a n

Been three weeks
And still no sign
Of a picnic there

Why do we put it off
Would another time
Be different

If we go today
Perhaps I'd get
Bitten by a snake

If we go
Tommorrow
Perhaps I won't

If we went
Yesterday would not
Be three weeks since we planned

If we leave it
For two months
We won't be going at all

Or left it for one
The same result maybe
But in six

All I know
Is don't leave it
For two

I know this
Because as I write
It is now three

( ... & is falling )
